I've been involved with the Walk the Walk since 2006, both as a walker and a volunteer. This year I am walking the Full Moon (26.2 miles) in both London and Edinbra, my 15th and 16th Moonwalks.
After all these years, it shouldn't present much of a challenge for me, but the London Moonwalk takes place only 2 weeks after I walked 106km around the Isle of Wight, non stop except for short rest stops, and I'm just hoping the blisters and dodgy knee have recovered in time.
Over the years I have raised in excess of £10,000 for this very worthwhile charity. I have decided that this year I am walking my last Moonwalks, so let's try and raise just a little bit more. All donations, no matter how small, are very much appreciated.
